Qualifications

  • Full driving licence and NVQ level 2/3 qualifications required.

A qualified Plumber is responsible for delivering works and ensuring that these works are completed to a satisfactory quality in line with timeframes set by the Contracts manager, following BELFOR UK operational procedures and techniques for both Residential and SME properties.

Your Tasks
  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
  • Follow building plans and blueprints.
  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
  • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Document projects with before and after photographs.
  • Review scopes and provide feedback to the project manager regarding any changes.
  • Deliver work within the timeframe set by the Contracts manager.
  • Keep sites clean and tidy at all times.
  • Liaise with the Service Centre and customers to keep them informed of ongoing projects.
  • Ensure understanding and full implementation of Quality, Management, and Health & Safety procedures. Advise insureds on the operation and safety of all plant and equipment, including providing safety data sheets when necessary.
  • Provide flexible resourcing to assist other trades or restoration technicians as required.
