OCS UK & Ireland in the United Kingdom is seeking a maintenance technician for our facilities management team in Hull and the surrounding area. You will perform preventive, proactive and reactive maintenance on agreed equipment, following set timeframes and safety standards.

You will respond to callouts according to the rota, supervise contractors, and ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations.

Formación

• Right to work in the UK.
• Current valid driving licence.
• Certifications and qualifications with Grade Cards such as CSCS.
• NVQ or City & Guilds in Plumbing/Mechanical Services.
• Experience in Facilities Management.
• Ability to use electronic handheld devices.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out preventive, proactive and reactive maintenance within set time frames.
• Provide callout response per the rota.
• Oversee contractor work and ensure standards.
• Ensure equipment and area meet company standards.
• Evaluate performance and service of equipment under contract.
• Work safely following health and safety legislation.

About The Role:

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30

Key Responsibilities:

• To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
• To provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
• To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
• Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation

Key Hiring Criteria:

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
• Must have a current, valid driving licence
• Candidates must have the relevant certifications and qualifications required to meet the requirements of this position, together with relevant Grade Cards such as CSCS.
• NVQ or City & Guilds in the following: Plumbing/Mechanical Services.
• Previous experience working within Facilities Management.
• Ability to use electronic handheld devices.
