Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to perform planned and reactive works, respond to client callouts, and monitor contractor performance. You will ensure equipment and work areas meet company standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.

The role requires an NVQ/City & Guilds in Plumbing/Mechanical Services, a current UK driving licence, and experience in facilities management. You will work Monday to Friday, with a hands-on, on-site approach.

Responsibilities

• Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames.

• Evaluate performance to ensure proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract.
• Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with Health & Safety legislation.

About The Role

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30

Key Responsibilities

• To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
• To provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
• To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
• Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation

Key Hiring Criteria

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
• Must have a current, valid driving licence
• Candidates must have the relevant certifications and qualifications required to meet the requirements of this position, together with relevant Grade Cards such as CSCS.
• NVQ or City & Guilds in the following: Plumbing/Mechanical Services.
• Previous experience working within Facilities Management.
• Ability to use electronic handheld devices.
