Job description

We are looking for a qualified plumber to join our Wiltshire team on a permanent basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be using your skills and experience to complete plumbing repair works across our properties in Wiltshire, supporting the team to find first-fix solutions whenever possible.

You’ll work in customers' homes and void properties, so customer service skills and an inquisitive mindset are essential to diagnose issues effectively. You’ll mostly work independently, with support available when needed.

Your tasks could include:

• Installation or extension of domestic hot water systems
• Plumbing works related to kitchens and bathrooms, including over-bath showers and shower trays
• Liaising with merchants to obtain materials
• Following construction drawings
• Communicating with customers about work progress

About You

You’ll have a plumbing qualification such as NVQ or equivalent, or demonstrable experience in a plumbing role. You should be able to identify causes and specify materials needed to fix plumbing issues.

You’ll work as part of a team of operatives, delivering excellent customer service and working collaboratively to improve our customers' homes. Teamwork and communication skills are vital.

You’ll be working in the community, so good communication with customers and colleagues is important. You should take pride in your customer service and aim to fix issues on the first visit whenever possible.

We will provide a company vehicle, so a full UK driving license is required. You should be willing to participate in an out-of-hours rota and comply with face fit regulations.
