Job summary

Berneslai Homes is seeking a Plumber to join our team and deliver high-quality plumbing services across our managed properties. You will carry out repairs, maintenance and refurbishments, install fittings, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while coordinating workloads within a team or solo.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 37 hours per week. The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, have substantial plumbing experience, a valid driving license, and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing.
• Previous experience and knowledge of plumbing work to a high standard on repairs, maintenance and refurbishment projects.
• Ability to and experience of working at height, with heavy weights and in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in relation to plumbing work.
• Current driving license and ability to travel as necessary to meet the needs of the post.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of plumbing work including repairs, maintenance and refurbishments on all Berneslai Homes managed properties.
• Install water pipes, sink units, water closets (toilets), baths, showers, washbasins and solid fuel boilers.
• Renew external gutters, fall pipes and soil stacks.
• Renew and repair external water services and stop taps.
• Carry out water hygiene risk assessments.
• Promote continuous improvement and deliver demonstrable high-quality services.
