At Amey, we’re supporting our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons. By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.

Plumber plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.

The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, across 7 days where the weekend shift pattern is in place.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Fault finding Identification of life expired equipment.
  • Check, repair and make good faults and life expired equipment.
  • Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
  • Mains water supply repairs.
