Key Duties/Accountabilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial structures.
  • Read blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems using pressure gauges and other tools.
  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with construction professionals, electricians, and other tradespeople on new builds and renovations.
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of time spent on jobs, materials used, and work completed.
  • Respond to emergency plumbing calls and perform after-hours repairs when necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Essential Experience Required .

  • Proven experience as a plumber (typically 2–5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.

Additional information to note

  • This role is 37 working hours per week.
  • Valid driver’s license is required for this role.
