Job description

Overview

Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for a Plumber on behalf of a well-known and successful Building Services and HVAC contractor.

Established over 15 years, they have over 50 members of staff working for them. They work in a range of sectors including healthcare, leisure, commercial, retail, education, transport, and industrial.

They have a large portfolio of clients including Aldi, Tesco, Coop, Sainsbury's, NHS, Barclays, MOJ, Various Universities, BBC, Hugo Boss, Manchester Airport, etc.

As the Plumber, you will be involved with installations, routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in the commercial and retail sector. This role can involve nationwide travel and working away.

Responsibilities

  1. Installation work is the primary role.
  2. Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM's are completed within the contract defined time SLA's & KPI's.
  3. Fault diagnosing / troubleshooting.
  4. Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the Customer.
  5. Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site.
  6. Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLAs.

Skills & Attributes

  1. Have a relevant plumbing qualification.
  2. Experience working within FM or the building services industry.
  3. Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  4. Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades.
  5. Good customer service skills.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  7. An excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
  8. Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.
  9. Full UK Driving License.
