A leading law firm seeks a Plot Sales Paralegal to join their Newcastle team. This role involves managing conveyancing cases, liaising with clients, and ensuring efficient processing of plot sales for notable residential developments. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience and a commitment to client service, thriving in a collaborative environment that values diversity and inclusion.
Our Residential Housebuilding team is one of the largest of its kind. Working with many major housebuilders, residential developers, and housing clients, our work is diverse and always of the highest quality. We support our clients in a range of projects, from major urban mixed-use developments to greenfield new settlements. Our sector expertise and client service approach mean we are rated as the premier team in Newcastle by both clients and legal directories.
The team is now looking for a Plot Sales Paralegal to join them based out of our Newcastle office. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, busy team where you'll play an integral role in delivering some of the UK's most exciting residential developments for premier clients such as housebuilders.
What will you be doing?
In this busy team, you'll be responsible for managing your own caseload, primarily handling files for plot sales. This includes all aspects of the plot sales process, liaising with buyers' conveyancers and developer clients to progress files to exchange, replying to enquiries, managing exchange and completion, administering documentation, and post-completion formalities.
So what are we looking for?
Ideally, you will have experience in plot sales, residential, or conveyancing work, and a keen interest in this area. The type of practice where you gained this experience is not important; what matters is that you have demonstrable conveyancing experience, excellent communication skills, a positive outlook, and a commitment to outstanding client service. You should also be able to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines, possess strong IT skills, and have experience with case management systems.
