Samuel Frank is recruiting for a PLC Software Engineer for a Staffordshire based, specialist engineering business. The PLC Software Engineer will have at least 1-3 years relevant/commercial experience post-graduation.

Key aspects to the PLC Software Engineer position include:

1. You’ll need to be a British passport holder and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years, as you’ll be put through basic level security clearance.
2. The successful PLC Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing automation, safety and material tracking systems, which will include writing PLC programs from scratch.
3. Experience in the use of Siemens system components and development tools.
4. Write specifications and system documentation.
5. Preparation of test plans.
6. Qualified to at least Degree level.
7. The company encourages and will support Engineers taking on Chartered status / MSc qualifications etc.
