Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council seeks a Part-Time Playworker for Oak Cottage Primary School in Solihull. The role supports children at breakfast and after-school clubs, assisting with activities and snack times during term time.

You will engage with children across EYFS and primary ages, promoting a safe, respectful environment. The position is permanent, 22.5 hours weekly, spread 7:30am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday during term time.

Permanent Part-Time Playworker – Term time only

About The Role

We are seeking to appoint a Playworker to support children attending Breakfast Club and After School Club provision in our school.

The successful candidate will work with children from across the EYFS and primary age range supporting activities, breakfast and snack times as well as engaging with children and leading activities.

The hours of work are to a total of 22.5 hours per week and arranged between 7:30am –6:00pm, Monday – Friday, term time only. Additional hours may be available depending on the level of demand for the service. This is a permanent contract.

Salary: Band A, Point 3

Hours: 22.5 hrs per week

Weeks: 39 weeks per year, term-time only

Please note an adjustment will be made to salary for starting part way through the academic year.
