Playworker – Glasgow

As a Play Team Leader, your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of the people you are supporting. You will play an active role in the set-up, delivery and development of recreational activities, engaging children in creative play and the management of suitable activities for the different ages and interests of children.

If you would like to work in a supportive and understanding work environment, where the team is highly committed to our mission, we would love to have you on board:

  • Knowledge and experience of facilitating indoor and outdoor play opportunities and environments and leading recreational activities
  • A demonstrable understanding of, and experience in, the value of play and working with children and young people with disabilities
  • A proven ability to work in a flexible and creative manner, as an individual and as part of a team
  • Knowledge and experience of facilitating young people’s social activities
