Job summary

CLUBLAND PLAYSCHEME LTD in Oxshott seeks Playworkers to support breakfast and afterschool clubs for children aged 4–11 at The Royal Kent School. The role is hands-on, with activities ranging from breakfast setup to outdoor play and safeguarding duties.

Ideal candidates are caring, reliable, and friendly, with ability to engage children and collaborate with parents and school staff. Training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience or comfort working with children aged 4–11 is ideal.
• Creative and willing to run a range of activities.
• Great communicator and team player.
• Reliable and able to commit to regular sessions each week.

Responsibilities

• Support child-led play, crafts, cookery, outdoor games and activities.
• Help prepare breakfast, snacks, set up play areas, tidy after sessions.
• Follow safeguarding, first aid, and health & safety procedures to keep children safe.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and school staff.
• Work as a team to keep sessions enjoyable and stress-free.
