Job summary

REESON Education is recruiting a Playworker for a school club in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. Most shifts are after school 3:00-6:00pm, with occasional breakfast club shifts from 7:30-9:00am.

This is a zero-hours, ad-hoc role with no guaranteed weekly hours. As a Playworker, you will supervise children, lead games and activities, and help with snacks while following safeguarding procedures and working closely with the club team.

Qualifications

• Experience in playwork, childcare, a school club or a similar setting.
• Reliable, friendly approach and confidence supervising groups of children.
• Availability for occasional short-notice shifts, including same-day calls.
• An Enhanced DBS is required or willingness to apply for one; Paediatric First Aid is an advantage.

Are you a Playworker looking for flexible work around other commitments? Reeson Education is recruiting for a school club in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. Most shifts are in the after school club from 3:00-6:00pm, with occasional breakfast club shifts from 7:30-9:00am.

This is a zero-hours, ad-hoc role. Shifts are offered as and when cover is needed, with no guaranteed weekly hours. Sometimes we may call on the day, so this would suit a Playworker who lives locally and can respond at short notice.

The Role:

• Position: Playworker
• Pay: £14.25-£16.65 per hour, depending on the booking
• Location: Sawbridgeworth, CM21
• Hours: After school 3:00-6:00pm; occasional breakfast club 7:30-9:00am
• Working pattern: Flexible, zero-hours cover

As a Playworker, you'll help children enjoy a safe, welcoming club before or after the school day.
