Are you an enthusiastic, fun-loving person with a passion for working with young children? Do you have at least 2 years of experience working with children – or even better, have little ones of your own?

We’re looking for a Playgroup Leader who brings energy, warmth, and a big smile to every session. In this role, you’ll lead engaging and active play sessions for children aged 18 months to 5 years, helping them explore, learn, and grow in a safe and welcoming environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
Leading fun and structured play sessions that encourage movement, creativity and social skills

Setting up and packing down equipment and play areas

Welcoming families and building friendly, trusting relationships

Creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel happy and confident

Supporting early childhood development through play-based activities

Communicating clearly with children and parents

Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed at all times

What We're Looking For:
A positive, friendly, and confident personality

Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children

Minimum 1 years’ experience working with children OR personal experience as a parent/carer

Physically fit and comfortable leading active sessions

Excellent verbal communication and people skills

Highly reliable, organised and punctual

Experience as a group leader, coach, or early years educator is a bonus – but not essential

Requirements:
Must hold a valid UK driver’s licence

DBS check

Willingness to work weekends

Basic First Aid or Early Years qualifications are a plus
