Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking a Playground Supervisor for Heathhall Primary School. The role covers 9.75 hours per week across 5 days, for 38 weeks during school term time. You will work as part of a small team, supervising play and supporting activities in all weather conditions, with occasional dining room assistance.

Applicants must be capable of using initiative and working with children. PVG scheme updates may be required prior to offer.

• Experience in working with young people.
• Must be a team player and able to use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and decanting playground games.
• Assisting in the dining room when necessary.
• Working in all weather conditions and encouraging interaction through play.
