Job summary

Watford FC Community Sports and Education Trust is seeking a Player Development Programme Coach to deliver coaching sessions across our three boys' and girls' player development tiers, primarily in weekday late afternoons and evenings, with occasional weekend delivery.

You will work within the Football and Education Projects, upholding the Trust's values and collaborating with community departments to promote positive futures for grassroots footballers in Hertfordshire and Harrow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical coaching sessions across Skills Centres, Player Development Centres, Futsal Centres, Matchday Packages, Football Development Camps and Player Development Events.
• Promote the Trust's core values and policies; work with all departments on community initiatives.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the Trust.
• Represent the Trust in a professional manner and engage with stakeholders.

Job description

Department: Football and Education Projects

Reporting to: Head of Football and Education

Hours: 30 hours per week - weekday afternoon & evening, with some occasional weekend delivery.

Salary: £19,890 pa

Passport/Visa: Must be eligible to work in the UK

Location: Watford FC Training Ground / Vicarage Road / Trust Community Facilities / remote working due to nature of the role.

Contract Type: 12 month, fixed term

Working primarily across weekday late afternoon and evenings, with some occasional weekend delivery, you will be part of a core team delivering coaching sessions across our three tiers of boys' and girls' player development programmes and associated activities.

Main Responsibilities:

Delivering technical coaching sessions on a number of the following programmes:

1. Skills Centres (boys' and girls' tier 1)
2. Player Development Centres (boys' tier 2&3/girls' tier 2/girls' tier 3 Emerging Talent Centre)
3. Futsal Centre(s)
4. Matchday Packages (including football Tour visitors)
5. Football Development Camps
6. Player Development Events

General Responsibilities:

1. To actively demonstrate and promote the Trust's core values through your work.#

3. Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the Trust.
4. To work in partnership with all the Club's departments on community initiatives as identified by the Community Director and Board of Trustees.
5. To actively promote the Trust in a positive and professional manner at all times.
6. To undertake any other duties which might reasonably be deemed within the status of the job and appropriate to the post.
