Job summary

BOXPARK Ltd is recruiting for a bar-based role at our Croydon venue. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and craft cocktails while ensuring a memorable guest experience. The role requires evening and weekend availability and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

You'll handle pre-bookings, upsell effectively, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and compliance with licensing rules. A competitive hourly rate and employee perks accompany the position.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of cocktails and how to prepare them.
• Knowledge of licensing objectives and Challenge 25 rules.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication and team spirit.
• Punctual and reliable, able to work evenings and weekends.
• Able to follow instructions and maintain Boxpark’s uniform/hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and checking them in using the reservations system.
• Troubleshooting games and helping guests maximise their experience.
• Handling pre-bookings and party enquiries.
• Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages efficiently.
• Assessing guest needs and recommending drinks with product knowledge.
• Upselling where appropriate.
• Keeping the bar and floor clean and presentable.
• Enforcing Challenge 25 policy and safe service of alcohol.
• Restocking bar inventory and supplies.
• Maintaining guest focus and high guest experience.
• Complying with food & beverage regulations.
