Do you believe in the power of play to transform children's lives? I am looking for a committed and creative Play Worker to help deliver safe, engaging, and inclusive play opportunities for children and young people across the borough.

We are seeking a hardworking, motivated and passionate Play Worker to join their team.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day running of open-access play facilities in playgrounds and parks
  • Deliver and supervise safe, stimulating play activities for children of school age
  • Work directly with young people to support their personal and social development
  • Help maintain and improve adventure play structures and equipment
  • Keep accurate records (attendance, incidents, risk assessments)
  • Assist with fundraising, promotion, and event delivery
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and champion equal opportunities
Ideal Candidate:
  • A Level 2 qualification in Play Work, Childcare, Youth Work, or similar
  • Experience working in open-access play settings or with adventure playgrounds
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and supporting vulnerable children
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • The ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
