Job summary

Barnardo's is seeking a Part-time Project Worker 1 for the Include Me 2 Service in Lancashire. The role involves delivering engaging group sessions for children and young people, 18 hours per week, including two evenings and one weekend day.

A car is preferable but not essential; drivers may be needed for activities and outings. Responsibilities include planning, delivering, and recording sessions while safeguarding policy compliance is ensured.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children & young people in employment or volunteering.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children & young people.
• Awareness of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the planning of sessions and activities.
• Deliver and record group sessions.
• Facilitate activities and days out.
• Ensure sessions run smoothly with safeguarding policies in place.
• Provide a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all service users.
