Play and Sensory Centre Support Assistant x 3
About us

Warrington Play & Sensory Centre is an activity centre with a café for disabled children, young people, and adults with additional needs based in Woolston, Warrington. We provide a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children, young people, and adults through various sessions.

Reports to: Sensory Centre Manager

The role
  1. Be part of a team working in a café setting, taking orders and payments using an electronic till, preparing food, and serving.
  2. Maintain high standards of hygiene to ensure the centre and equipment are kept clean.
  3. Work 12 hours per week, including weekends and evenings on a rota basis. Daytime hours may be available depending on centre needs and staff coverage.
What's needed?
  • GCSE in English and Maths at grade A-C or 5-9, or working towards them.
  • Experience in café work, till sales, and customer service.
  • Effective communication skills and experience working with disabled children, families, and vulnerable adults.
