Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking an Observability and Telemetry Lead contractor for a project until December 2025. This role demands expertise in EaaS, experience in PHP or Python, and proficiency with monitoring tools across various systems. Successful candidates will have a strong background in application performance monitoring and system operations.

• Proficient in PHP or Python, with a solid grasp of Oracle and relational databases.

Role Title: Observability and telemetry Lead

Duration: contract to run until 31/12/2025

Rate: up to £368 p/d Umbrellainside IR35

Key Skills/ requirements

• EaaS Evolution
• Working Experience on PHP or Python
• Knowledge of Oracle and other relational Databases
• Well versed in working on Linux and Windows System
• Experience on Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, Grafana, etc.

Good to have:

• Working experience in Angular, NodeJS, etc
• Working experience on APIs, ETL processes and scripting.
• Good understanding of Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, Containerization and Cloud models – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Infrastructure virtualization
