Job summary

A leading company in the UK is seeking an Observability and Telemetry Lead for a contract position until the end of 2025. The role involves driving observability initiatives using a range of monitoring tools and requires strong skills in PHP or Python, and knowledge of various database and operating systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in EaaS Evolution and PHP or Python development.
• Knowledge of relational databases, especially Oracle.
• Well-versed in Linux and Windows systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead observability and telemetry initiatives.
• Implement and manage monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, and Grafana.

Rate: up to £368 p/d Umbrellainside IR35

Key Skills/ requirements

• EaaS Evolution
• Working Experience on PHP or Python
• Knowledge of Oracle and other relational Databases
• Well versed in working on Linux and Windows System
• Experience on Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, Grafana, etc.

Good to have:

• Working experience in Angular, NodeJS, etc
• Working experience on APIs, ETL processes and scripting.
• Good understanding of Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, Containerization and Cloud models – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Infrastructure virtualization
