Job summary

A leading company in the UK is seeking an 'Observability and Telemetry Lead' for a contract role until December 2025. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PHP or Python, knowledge of relational databases, and expertise in Linux and Windows systems. This position requires familiarity with monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Elastic APM, as well as a solid understanding of containerization and cloud models.

Qualifications

• Experience in EaaS Evolution.
• Working experience on PHP or Python is essential.
• Knowledge of Oracle and other relational databases highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead observability and telemetry initiatives.
• Utilize various monitoring tools effectively.
• Ensure the evolution of Engineering as a Service (EaaS).

Key Skills/ requirements

• EaaS Evolution
• Working Experience on PHP or Python
• Knowledge of Oracle and other relational Databases
• Well versed in working on Linux and Windows System
• Experience on Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, Grafana, etc.

Good to have:

• Working experience in Angular, NodeJS, etc
• Working experience on APIs, ETL processes and scripting.
• Good understanding of Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, Containerization and Cloud models – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Infrastructure virtualization
