A leading technology firm in the UK is seeking an Observability and Telemetry Lead to manage and enhance monitoring practices. This contract position requires expertise in PHP or Python, alongside experience with various relational databases and monitoring tools. The role offers a competitive daily rate and is ideal for a candidate with a strong technical background and a passion for observability initiatives. The contract will run until December 31, 2025.

Qualifications

• Experience with EaaS Evolution, PHP or Python, and Oracle databases.
• Proficient in monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Grafana.
• Well-versed in Linux and Windows systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monitoring tools and ensure application performance.

Key Skills/ requirements

• EaaS Evolution
• Working Experience on PHP or Python
• Knowledge of Oracle and other relational Databases
• Well versed in working on Linux and Windows System
• Experience on Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, Grafana, etc.

Good to have:

• Working experience in Angular, NodeJS, etc
• Working experience on APIs, ETL processes and scripting.
• Good understanding of Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, Containerization and Cloud models – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Infrastructure virtualization
