A leading technology provider is seeking an Observability and Telemetry Lead to enhance their operational monitoring capabilities. This contract role will focus on implementing best practices using key technologies like PHP, Python, and various monitoring tools. Successful candidates will have strong experience in both Linux and Windows environments, ensuring a seamless observability framework.

Qualifications

• Experience with EaaS Evolution and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in PHP and Python required.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and Linux/Windows systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives related to observability and telemetry.
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions across platforms.
• Work closely with various systems and development teams.

Rate: up to £368 p/d Umbrellainside IR35

Key Skills/ requirements

• EaaS Evolution
• Working Experience on PHP or Python
• Knowledge of Oracle and other relational Databases
• Well versed in working on Linux and Windows System
• Experience on Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, Elastic APM, Grafana, etc.

Good to have:

• Working experience in Angular, NodeJS, etc
• Working experience on APIs, ETL processes and scripting.
• Good understanding of Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, Containerization and Cloud models – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Infrastructure virtualization
