About us:

We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems. Due to growth within our Defence business, we are seeking an experienced Platform Solution Architect to join a live project within our Defence Team.

Role Location:

Work from any of our 6 UK offices (including Bristol, Cheltenham, London) or from home. The role requires 2-3 days onsite at Corsham on customer site.

The Opportunity:

As an experienced Platform Solution Architect, you will work within our Defence team on a large technology refresh project. You will serve as the technical authority for the platform, leading architecture development and owning design, configuration, and specifications.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture design, implementation, delivery, training, support, and maintenance.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Implementing complex platform solutions including design, development, and testing.
  2. Providing technical assurance in partnership with Technical Leads.
  3. Drafting technical statements of requirements for platform solutions.
  4. Defining and assessing technical architectures, solutions, and business requirements.
  5. Producing high- and low-level technical designs and operational models.
  6. Ensuring Agile best practices (SCRUM & Kanban) are followed.
  7. Supporting customers with technology choices and complex problem-solving.
  8. Utilizing a range of technologies, including open-source libraries.
  9. Deploying in environments such as AWS, Azure, and private clouds.
  10. Managing customer relationships.
  11. Maintaining professional development in emerging technologies.
  12. Providing leadership and support to delivery team members.
