Job Title: Platform Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Across UK (Fully remote)

Job Description:

1. University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
2. 6+ years of professional technical experience.
3. In-depth knowledge of hyperscalers like AWS.
4. Expertise in SAP Converged Cloud (OpenStack) is a major plus.
5. Understanding of deployment automation tools such as Ansible and Chef.
6. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
7. Experience with CI/CD pipelines like ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
8. Experience with Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and CloudWatch.
9. Experience with Logging tools such as Splunk, Elasticsearch, Logstash.
10. Experience with Cloud Networking tools like AWS VPCs, VNet, Google VPC.
11. Experience deploying and managing Cloud-native applications, including:

• Repository management (preferred: Artifactory, JFrog)
• Service management tools (preferred: Consul, Zookeeper)

Familiarity with GitLab and/or GitHub.

Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar.

Knowledge of security best practices, including hardened containers and images (STIG).

Experience with security tools like Hashicorp Vault and GitHub Secrets.

Database knowledge, e.g., SAP HANA.

Proficiency with OS, especially Linux and RHEL.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Knowledge of SAP and its solution portfolio is a plus.
