Job summary

SubSea Craft Limited, a UK-based maritime tech company, is seeking a Security Engineer to identify vulnerabilities across platform systems, networks, and software, guiding secure design throughout the lifecycle.

You will define mitigations, own security acceptance cases and risk assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into architectures and requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, cyber security, or related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Significant experience in security engineering, systems engineering, platform assurance, or similar security-critical environments.
• Experience producing security assurance cases, risk assessments, and compliance evidence.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities across platform systems, networks, software, and infrastructure.
• Define mitigations and protective measures to reduce risk and improve resilience.
• Own security documentation such as security acceptance cases and risk assessments.
