Job summary

EDF Energy is seeking a Platform Recovery Lead within our Enterprise IT function in the United Kingdom. This hybrid role balances time at home and on site, with occasional travel to UK offices as needed.

You will help strengthen our digital recovery strategy, ensure resilience across complex platforms, cloud environments and critical services, and work with enterprise teams to deliver robust recovery capabilities.

Qualifications

Experience in IT disaster recovery, digital recovery, operational resilience or IT service continuity.
Familiarity with on-premises and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Ability to lead cross-functional response activities and influence senior stakeholders.
Potential certifications such as ITIL, ISO 22301, CISSP, CISM or Cloud Architecture are a plus.

Responsibilities

Support development and maintenance of IT digital recovery plans aligned to architectural standards.
Maintain recovery runbooks and procedures for critical infrastructure and services.
Raise and monitor recovery risks and support mitigation with business continuity leads and product managers.
Ensure recovery capabilities meet service level requirements across enterprise platforms.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods in line with regulatory expectations.
Engage with senior stakeholders to align resilience priorities across the federated business model.
