About the role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Platform Release & Environment Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead the coordination of platform changes, releases, and environment management.

Day-to-day, you will :

Change & Release Management : Oversee and manage the end-to-end process of platform change and release coordination, ensuring timely delivery with minimal disruption.

Non-Production Environments Management : Optimize non-production environments to meet the needs of development and QA teams.

Process Management : Identify opportunities for improvement in release and deployment processes, driving continuous delivery.

Build and Deployment Automation : Drive the automation of build, test, and deployment pipelines to improve efficiency and quality.

Leadership and People Management : Lead and manage a team of 15+ engineers and specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including :

Technical Leadership and Project Management : Proven track record as a manager, providing technical leadership in project / release & environment management roles.

Application Development and SDLC : Wealth of experience in application development methodologies and development delivery, along with experience in managing SDLCs and associated change management processes.

Vendor Management and Risk Management : Seasoned capabilities in managing external service providers for the delivery of discrete items, and experience with formal risk management methods.

Interpersonal and lateral thinking skills : Demonstrated ability in consultative relationship management, with the ability to solve complex problems, think laterally, and challenge ideas.
