Job summary

Trust In SODA is recruiting a Managing & Lead Platform Engineer to join a high-profile UK government transformation project. You will lead Kubernetes-heavy platform teams and own ongoing support, optimisation and scaling across IaC, CI/CD and observability tools in production.

You will mentor managers and engineers, collaborate with client stakeholders to deliver robust, secure platforms, and help drive a multi-year DevOps transformation in hybrid working environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Kubernetes-heavy platforms.
• Strong background in IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Proven ability to own and drive CI/CD and observability in production.

They are now looking for a Managing & Lead Platform Engineer to join their team and help with the ongoing support, optimisation and scaling of this project. Their ideal candidate would be an expert within:

• IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
• CI/CD (GitOps, Github Actions, Jenkins)
• Observability (OTel, Dynatrace, Grafana)
• Leadership / Line Management
