We are seeking a Platform Engineering Lead with deep expertise in on-premise platform engineering, Java-based technologies, and application performance optimization. You will lead the design, development, and stability of large-scale, business-critical systems for a global financial client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and lead enterprise-grade platform solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and security
• Drive on-premise and hybrid cloud deployment strategies (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Collaborate with CTO, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring high code and delivery standards
• Own performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system resilience initiatives

Required Skills:

• 10+ years in platform/app engineering; 7+ years in solution/technical leadership
• Strong in Java, Spring Boot, MuleSoft, Kafka, Oracle (SQL/PLSQL)
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, and middleware platforms
• Proficient in APM tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics
• Exceptional communication skills – both technical and business-facing
• Prior experience in banking or financial services is highly
