Job summary

A leading technology consultancy is seeking a Platform Engineer in London or Remote. You will support a high-priority Multi-Cloud BCP project, enhancing backup solutions across cloud environments. Ideal candidates will have experience in the broadcasting/media sector and a strong background in AWS. This role offers competitive pay of up to £525 per day.

Qualifications

• Experience working with broadcasting/media clients or within content delivery ecosystems.
• Strong background in AWS and multiple services including: Compute, Storage and Networking.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Terraform, and ARM templates.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the Multi-Cloud BCP backup deployment solution.
• Integrate with the client's strategic backups project.
• Collaborate closely with development teams.
• Engage with business stakeholders to explain technical concepts.
• Contribute to automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure provisioning.

Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance the Multi-Cloud BCP backup deployment solution
• Integrate with the client's strategic backups project, ensuring alignment with business continuity objectives
• Collaborate closely with development teams to design, build, and optimise the solution across AWS and other cloud platforms
• Engage with business stakeholders to explain technical concepts and confirm requirements
• Contribute to automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure provisioning across a cloud-native environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with broadcasting/media clients or within content delivery ecosystems
• Strong background in AWS and multiple services including: Compute, Storage and Networking
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation (especially VaporShell), Terraform, and ARM templates
