Job summary

A technology organization is seeking a Platform Engineer in Colchester to design and maintain an internal developer platform and cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on enabling teams to ship software reliably and securely. Responsibilities include evolving CI/CD pipelines and implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible. Candidates should have over 3 years of experience in platform engineering or related fields, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience building and scaling production-grade systems.
• Strong communication skills and a clear sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Designing and evolving self-service tooling, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud environments.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code and GitOps workflows.
• Driving adoption of modern engineering practices, including observability and resilience testing.
