Job summary

Poolside is building a robust sandboxed Agent execution environment to accelerate research and product development. You will join the Platform engineering team to design, develop and operate services that run agent sessions at scale, focusing on safety and isolation.

We seek hands-on experience with sandbox techniques, container runtimes, and distributed systems, plus a self-driven mindset balanced with teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Go and Python; comfort with systems programming.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container runtimes; cloud familiarity.
• Ability to design and operate distributed, scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a sandboxed execution environment to facilitate Agent research and product development at Poolside.
• Own the complete development cycle of new features and capabilities in the Agent execution environment.
• Collaborate with other teams to discuss, guide and meet their needs in the sandbox and code execution environment.
• Continuously improve reliability and performance of the Agent execution environment.
