Arcus Search is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer to build, operate and integrate Azure-based platforms across DEV, TEST, PPE and PROD environments. You will work with GTS and engineering teams to ensure secure, automated, and production-ready infrastructure aligned with enterprise standards.

The role requires strong DevOps skills, expertise in IaC and CI/CD, and a background in the financial sector. Hybrid work with mandatory onsite presence in Belgium is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in the financial/banking sector.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Proficient in IaC and CI/CD tooling (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and strong networking/security fundamentals.

Role Overview

The Innovation Tribe is building scalable, secure and resilient digital platforms, including a Digital Asset Platform. They are looking for a hands‑on Platform Engineer to build, operate and integrate platform infrastructure in close collaboration with GTS (Group Technology Services). The role sits across cloud infrastructure, DevOps and enterprise platform services, ensuring environments are secure, automated, production-ready and aligned with GTS standards and governance. You will work closely with engineering teams, platform architects and GTS stakeholders across the full lifecycle, from development through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with GTS teams to provision, configure and manage infrastructure services in line with enterprise standards and processes.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM and Bicep.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes.
• Provision and manage DEV, TEST, PPE and PROD environments, ensuring stability, readiness and compliance.
• Deploy and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage and platform services.
• Implement security controls covering identity, access, secrets management and network security, aligned with CISO and GTS requirements.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and observability to improve reliability, resilience and performance.
• Support releases and deployments, ensuring infrastructure is ready for smooth production releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues across environments in collaboration with GTS and engineering teams.
• Continuously improve automation, reduce manual processes and optimise infrastructure cost, performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Strong experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering or cloud engineering roles.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure, and modern infrastructure concepts.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Hands‑on Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, ARM, Bicep or similar.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking, security and system design fundamentals.
• Experience working within enterprise IT environments and shared platform/service teams such as GTS.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile and DevOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Must have strong experience in the financial/banking sector
