Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Limited is partnering with the UK’s leading NHS EPR project to hire DevOps/Platform Engineers with networking focus. The role involves configuring VPN/IPSec, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux and Helm on a self-managed stack to support scalable product delivery.

Role requires delivering low latency and high availability. The position is on-site three days a week south of Reading, with compensation up to £75k DOE plus bonus, medical, and 25 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud and Infra Networking with IPSec and VPNs.
• VPNs, IPSec principles; Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux and Helm experience.

Responsibilities

• Support platform scalability with VPN/IPSec networking while maintaining low latency.
• Ensure high availability for the NHS EPR product and related services.
• Work with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform on a self-managed stack across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Are you experienced with Cloud and Infra Networking with IPSec and VPN's?

Looking for somewhere you can see genuine project and people impact with your work?

I'm partnered with the UK's leading EPR in a search for DevOps and Platform Engineers with a specific tailored experience to Networking technologies. Having scaled, since their origination 190 years ago they're now the NHS' leading EPR and now looking globally! With their impressive sustained growth they're needing Cloud Infra experience to support the product scalability.

Given the sensitivity of the product and customers, latency and availability are paramount hence adding multiple heads to the Platform team to support and upgrade features without impact availability. So, if you're experience with VPN's, IPSec principles and using tools such as Kubernetes, Terrafomr, Linux and Helm then I want to haear from you.

Their stack - all self-managed and agnostic across K8s, Argo, Helm, Terraform, Linux, AWS/Azure/GCP.

In return, the role is 3 days on site South of Reading and offers up to £75k DOE, plus bonus, medical, 25 days AL and more.
