Qualifications

• Опыт разработки и развёртывания production-приложений.

• Сильное желание (или опыт) создания и поддержки Kubernetes в production.
• Базовое понимание распределённых систем.

Responsibilities

• Разработка масштабируемой, надёжной и удобной платформы для разработчиков.
• Разработка инструментов автоматизации и упрощения использования платформы.
• Инфраструктура как код: Terraform, Helm, Crossplane; следование GitOps.
• Мониторинг и наблюдаемость: создание прочной основы мониторинга совместно с SRE.
• Безопасность и надёжность: внедрение лучших практик безопасности, участие в дежурной ротации.
• Взаимодействие со стейкхолдерами для координации обновлений и контроля сервис-провайдеров.

Задачи:

• Engineering Foundations: Engineering a scalable, reliable and developer friendly platform to promote seamless software development, deployment and operations.
• Automation & Tooling: Develop tools to abstract the complex aspects of the platform from developers to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
• Infrastructure as Code: Use tools like Terraform, Helm and Crossplane to manage and automate provisioning of all cloud infrastructure and champion GitOps best practices.
  Monitoring & Observability: Establish robust monitoring and logging foundations collaborating with the wider Site Reliability Engineering Function.
• Security & Reliability: Incorporate security best practices, ensure compliance, and participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota to troubleshoot and prevent recurrent issues.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate upgrades and hold service providers accountable.

Требования:

• Experience building and shipping production applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a curiosity to solve problems.
• Experience using cloud platforms like AWS (preferred), Google Cloud, or Azure.
• A strong desire to (or experience in) creating and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in production.
• A solid foundational understanding of distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code technologies.
