Job summary

HCLTech in London is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, build and productionise agentic AI solutions in customer environments. You will end-to-end from discovery to production rollout, working with engineering and domain teams.

You will operate across major AI stacks such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Microsoft, selecting the right model, framework and harness, while ensuring governance, tests and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Production software engineering experience with Python/TypeScript/Java.
• Hands-on with LLMs and agents on major platforms (Anthropic/OpenAI/Google/Microsoft).
• Experience with APIs, databases, cloud platforms and integration surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic AI solutions: single and multi-agent systems and tool use.
• Integrate agents with enterprise systems, APIs and cloud services.
• Implement agent evaluations, tests, observability and release safeguards.
• Triage deployment, data, model and integration issues.
• Produce reusable patterns, starter kits and playbooks for the wider practice.
• Ensure clear documentation and production readiness for handover.
