Job summary

Genesis is seeking a senior software engineer to design and maintain foundational frameworks enabling rapid experimentation and production-grade systems for AI research. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to validate use cases, build modular, reusable components, and drive large-scale improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Excellent software engineering skills in Python, Go, or Rust.
• Experience designing and maintaining modular, reusable systems.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and researchers across fields.
• Ability to implement large-impact changes with minimal disruption.
• Experience building internal tooling to accelerate AI research workflows (debugging, evaluation, experiment tracking, versioning, CI).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain foundational frameworks and tools to empower expert teams to experiment fast and productionize ideas.
• Collaborate with expert teams to validate use cases and build robust solutions with modular components.
• Identify and mitigate high-level design flaws and workflow inefficiencies across the organization.
