Job summary

FairPlay Sports Media in London is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer (DevOps/Infrastructure) to own GCP-based platforms, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, observability, and Kubernetes workloads. You’ll join a tech-led, data-rich environment supporting high-throughput, real-time services and partner integrations.

The role includes on-call duties, average monthly office presence with hybrid work, and collaboration with Senior engineers to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure across data pipelines.

Qualifications

3–5 years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering in a modern cloud environment.
Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash are a plus.
Knowledge of security, observability, and on-call incident practices.

Responsibilities

Own and deliver GCP infrastructure, Terraform modules, and Kubernetes workloads.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and GitOps workflows.
Improve observability with metrics, dashboards, and alerting.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response with callout pay.
Collaborate with product squads and Senior engineers on platform initiatives.
