Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Platform Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes, HA) in St Albans with hybrid WFH. You will join a skilled team building and operating the platform behind trading platforms and analytics. Expect to enhance developer experience with automation and AI-friendly tooling.

The role requires hands-on cloud engineering, strong Kubernetes, Terraform, and software engineering skills, plus a degree in CS or related field from a top university.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strong Kubernetes experience.
• Software engineering background with C#/.Net, Python or Node.js; scripting (PowerShell/Bash).
• Automation-focused mindset and passion for developer experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field from a top-tier university.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the platform underpinning trading platforms.
• Develop tools and services to enable developers to build, test and deploy applications efficiently.
• Collaborate with a small team at the intersection of software engineering and cloud infrastructure.
• Embrace AI tooling and modern engineering practices to support developers and AI agents.
