Grade C: £32,471 (National Framework) or £38,143 (LondonFramework – if you are London office based or homebased and live within theboundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £581per annum for those working from home.

Imagine being theperson who spots a critical issue in our cloud environment and fixes it beforeit impacts our users - your work keeps our systems running and our mission ontrack. In the last year workingfor CQC as a Platform Engineer, you might have automated a key deploymentprocess using Infrastructure as Code, saving hours of manual work each week. Youmight have alsoimplemented monitoring improvements that helped detect and resolve performanceissues in our Azure environment.

The role

You’ll be key in helping us deliver our work. In this role, you’ll:

•Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure: Support and enhance our Azure and Dynamics 365 systems using automation and Infrastructure as Code.
•Collaborate across teams: Work closely with DevOps and Software Engineering to deploy, monitor, and improve our digital services.
•Respond to issues and innovate: Investigate alerts, troubleshoot problems, and contribute to continuous improvement of our systems and processes

We will be looking for specific skills, knowledge and experience in your application form:

•Experience with Azure and automation: Show how you’ve supported or improved cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, PowerShell, or YML.
•Knowledge of DevOps practices: Demonstrate your experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Agile or DevOps environments.
•Problem-solving and collaboration: Share examples of how you’ve worked with others to identify and resolve technical issues or improve system performance.
