Job summary

A technology service provider is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with experience in central government projects and active SC clearance. This is a remote position for a 12-week contract, starting in early September. The role involves supporting delivery teams and enhancing platform reliability, requiring strong technical skills, including Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team’s daily checkpoint calls.
• Remove delivery blockers and support team members.
• Assist application engineers with platform-related issues.
• Draft and implement change requests in production.
• Deliver solutions for technical debt and platform enhancements.
• Act as deputy for the platform lead when required.
