We are building a Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription business with a global market of £ billion per annum, by digitally connecting hundreds of thousands of DERs with energy markets.

We have already attained a market-leading position and KrakenFlex is a recognized thought leader and innovator in the industry.

As we enter the stage of rapid commercialization and platform growth, we are looking for an exceptional person to help provide automation, tooling, and cloud infrastructure to our development & delivery teams. What you'll do

  • Develop tooling to automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of infrastructure and services.
  • Contribute to platform architecture and design to ensure new features have proper operational support and maintainability.
  • Work with our delivery teams to ensure services adhere to the AWS Well-Architected Framework (Operational excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance efficiency, and Cost optimization).
  • Implement a pragmatic CI/CD strategy covering the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Refine monitoring processes, thresholds, and configurations continuously.
  • Collaborate with teams to create and maintain continuous deployment practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation for services.

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments in production.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills and experience.
  • Ability to prioritize operational and development backlogs.
  • Experience in either Typescript or Python.
It would be great if you had
  • Ability to prioritize technical debt and value delivery, considering both tactical and strategic challenges.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Attention to detail with an organized approach to delivery.
