Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role, ideally within a fast-paced or regulated environment.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Azure, especially Azure DevOps, including advanced YAML pipeline authoring.
  • Solid working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.

In this role, you will implement and manage the CI/CD pipelines, enhance the automation of our infrastructure, and ensure our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. Your experience with cloud and virtualization technologies will be invaluable in driving our DevOps initiatives forward.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve our CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and aligned with modern DevOps practices.
  • Champion DevOps principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement across teams.
  • Build and manage scalable, secure, and observable infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Lead containerization efforts using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes, ensuring reliable deployments into Kubernetes clusters.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to align infrastructure, deployment, and operational strategies with the SDLC and secure software development practices.
  • Establish and advocate for effective branching strategies, versioning approaches, and development workflows.
  • Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to maintain high levels of system reliability and uptime.
  • Continuously assess and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance automation, observability, and scalability.
  • Drive platform automation across provisioning, deployments, security controls, and operational workflows
  • Proven experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role, ideally within a fast-paced or regulated environment.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Azure, especially Azure DevOps, including advanced YAML pipeline authoring.
  • Solid working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, with a track record of deploying and running containerized applications in production.
  • Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure automation, with a strong understanding of modular design and environment promotion workflows.
  • A good understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure SDLC practices.
  • Strong grasp of Git workflows, branching strategies, and semantic versioning.
  • A critical thinker who can break down complex problems and make sound decisions based on first principles.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to own challenges from inception to resolution.
  • An empathetic communicator who values diverse perspectives and constructive dialogue.

Nice To Have:

  • Relevant certifications in Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
