AXA UK is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their technology team. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for designing and documenting cloud solutions, enhancing Azure services, and supporting digital transformations. Ideal candidates will have considerable expertise in enterprise architecture, security design principles, and working with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines in a dynamic, Agile environment.

You’ll join our modernized technology team, which has migrated to Azure and cloud services, in this critical Platform Engineer role. You’ll play a key role in the continued enhancement, delivery, and support of the Azure environment as we advance our digital transformations. Your daily responsibilities will include designing and documenting cloud solutions and services deployed into Azure, as well as delivering technical projects and workstreams for the business.
In terms of technical experience, you should have knowledge of enterprise architecture, focusing on scalable infrastructure solutions. Knowledge of security-first design principles, as well as experience with and detailed understanding of Terraform & Infrastructure-as-Code principles, is highly desirable.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for IaC work, ideally using Azure DevOps or GitHub, is also important.
