The Technology Team

The Technology Team designs, builds, and operates ESG Book's cloud-native, event-driven SaaS and Data products that power corporates and financial institutions with the sustainability data and insights needed for reporting and better-informed decision making.

Organized into cross-functional squads and working closely with the Product and Data teams, we use modern engineering practices to deliver reliable and scalable solutions to our clients' needs.

• Platform Ownership: Lead and refine CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling, shaping a robust, scalable platform.
• Developer Empowerment: Optimise the infrastructure to enable engineers to excel.
• Best Practices in Automation & Security: Implement standards for reliability, automation, and compliance.

Requirements:

The Skills You'll Bring... and build on in the role

• Cloud Platforms (GCP): Managing Kubernetes, CI/CD, SQL databases, and more within a cloud-native environment.
• Containerisation and Deployment: Deploying scalable APIs, ETL processes, and workflows via tools like Docker and Argo.
• Kubernetes Tooling: Working with GKE, Helm, Istio, and Knative to ensure an effective and responsive infrastructure.
• Infrastructure as a Code (IAAC): Using Terraform and Terragrunt to manage resources across environments.
• Monitoring Tools: Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools to ensure system health and visibility.
