Job summary

Experis Austria seeks a Platform Engineer to manage Azure hybrid infrastructure for a secure government programme. You will deploy Azure services, onboard servers to Azure Arc, and implement XDR/EDR security across Windows and Linux environments.

Key tasks include automating with PowerShell/Bash, IaC with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates, and maintaining network security with VNets, NSGs, and firewalls.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying Azure infrastructure and managing hybrid cloud environments.
• DV-cleared infrastructure professional is preferred.
• Ability to onboard Windows and Linux servers into Azure Arc and manage security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure services
• Onboard Windows and Linux servers into Azure Arc
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Azure Monitor Agent (AMA)
• Deploy and support enterprise XDR/EDR security solutions
• Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments
• Support Azure networking technologies including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall and Private Endpoints
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Bash
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates
• Support security compliance, vulnerability remediation and platform hardening activities

Platform Engineer | Azure, Security & Hybrid Infrastructure

Hybrid | Milton Keynes / London (Primarily Milton Keynes)

We're supporting a high-profile secure government programme that requires an experienced Platform Engineer to help deliver and maintain enterprise infrastructure services across both cloud and on-premise environments.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Azure and security technologies, supporting large-scale infrastructure modernisation, monitoring, endpoint security deployments, and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure services
